Life in Elgin Flickr Group!

Click here to view the brand new Life in Elgin flickr group. If you are a flickr member who occasionally takes photos in Elgin, please consider joining! At the end of each week I am going to pick my favorite photo from the pool and post it here as the “Life in Elgin photo of the week.” This week I’m choosing my own photo, taken at Cinco de Mayo Festival. Hopefully there will be so many new members with great photos I’ll never be able to choose my own photo again!

As time goes on, maybe I can figure out a prize system so whoever has their photo chosen gets a prize. (Any Elgin company feel like donating something small?) And if enough people get involved, maybe we can make the process of choosing the photo of the week more democratic among the Life in Elgin flickr group vs. solely my decision.

    Cool. I’d just like to mention that there’s also an ‘elgin’ pool, a ‘downtown elgin’ pool and a ‘kane county’ pool on Flickr. So add your pictures to as many pools as you can!
